Both terms are defined by your bylaws but in a nutshell, the PTA
Executive Board is all the officers, the Principal, the chairs of the
standing committees, special committees and ad hoc committees. I
assume the "PTA Board" is the same thing.
However, the Executive Committee is just the officers and the
Principal. The Executive Committee plans direction and focus of the
PTA's plan of work but cannot vote on any actions. Only the executive
board can vote on actions.
