Orientation, Circulation, and Accelerated Reader
Students are scheduled for orientation to the media center and the opportunity to check out a library book through their Language A class. Books are checked out for two weeks and can be renewed if needed longer. Students are encouraged to return books as soon as they finish with them to help prevent them becoming misplaced or lost.
Some of our Language A teachers use the Accelerated Reader Program. Students know to look for the blue spine labels to identify the AR books in our media center. Lists of our AR titles have been sent to the Cameron Village, Green Road, Knightdale, North Regional, and Wake Forest Public Libraries. Ask someone in Children's Services to show you where the list is kept. If your family uses another library, let us know and we will provide them with a list too.
Coin Operated Copier
Students may use a coin-operated copier in the media center. A single-sided, 8.5" x 11" copy costs $.10.
