Susan R. Jewett , Assistant Principal
Susan Jewett joined the East Millbrook staff as an assistant principal three years ago after completing an administrative internship at Carnage Middle School. Ms. Jewett, a North Carolina Principal Fellowship recipient, earned her Masters of School Administration at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (GO HEELS!) Prior to entering school administration, she taught health and physical education for twenty-two years, fifteen of them as teacher and coach at West Cary and Westlake Middle Schools in Wake County. Ms. Jewett began her teaching and coaching career at Salem Academy in Winston-Salem, where she coached field hockey and basketball. She returned to UNC-G to work on her Masters after which she spent four years coaching field hockey at Randolph-Macon Women’s college for which she earned Coach of the Year honors.
